Stainless steel

Material: stainless steel | Urban Furniture | Urban Furniture.

Stainless steel conforming to the EN 10088 standard, known in the U.S. as AISI 304SS, possesses unique physical and chemical characteristics. Its primary advantages include:

  • corrosion resistance
  • resistance to high temperatures
  • ability to be used in spaces exposed to strong atmospheric conditions (wind, rain, snow, strong sun)
  • shiny luster and very easy maintenance of the surface

Below are examples showcasing the use of stainless steel combined with architectural concrete, conventional wood (European-iglastic), and exotic wood.

NOTES:

  • The color scheme of the furniture may differ in the picture on the monitor from the actual color scheme of the furniture
  • Stainless steel has a very high resistance to external conditions, however, it should be cared for and maintained like any other material

Weathering steel

Urban furniture, garden furniture in corten steel

Korten steel - a form of low-alloy steel that develops a protective coating resembling rust when processed correctly. This creates an intriguing aesthetic along with solid protective qualities. However, its ability to resist weathering isn't on par with stainless steel. Weathering steel remains vulnerable to water effects if any part of the steel lacks a protective coating. This leads to corrosion. We suggest purchasing weathering steel furniture for indoor use or placement under a covered area.
