The showcased project features a module that resembles a stainless steel container with a galvanized insert designed to house greenery like trees and shrubs. This module serves a pivotal structural and load-bearing role for the Salon's urban furnishings. The container's walls incorporate a unique grid with 16 inserts, compatible with each piece of the Urban Living Room's equipment. The Large Pot includes a drainage system and a moisture retention system to support plant life. It also has insulation to shield the tree roots from extreme temperatures, preventing them from freezing in winter and from overheating in summer. The pot's total weight is approximately 1.5 tons, which lends stability to the accompanying furnishings. For easier installation, the pot features concealed spaces sized for a Euro-pallet, enabling smooth insertion of a forklift or pallet jack for straightforward relocation. Element transportation is facilitated by a crane/hds. Inside, the pot is outfitted with special anchors to secure the tree roots, which are also useful for hoisting the entire assembly. When the pots are positioned in their intended spots, the outer stainless steel shell is lowered into place, securing the furniture firmly and preventing any movement.
